The Bone Church: A Novel
I've had the pleasure of working with Victoria on her novel, and I must say, The Bone Church is one of the most gorgeous books I've run across. Felix and Magdalena's journey is gripping, gritty, and human. It's a wild one, with passion and beauty that shows up on every page. Victoria's writing turns everyday things on their heads in a ghostly, atmospheric way, and her ability to craft a line is stunning. This is one for the "keeper" shelf.
